You never know if stores will actually open on the day initially slated, but we get word from the retailer's PR that Williams-Sonoma at 1600 Montana Avenue in Santa Monica will be opening tomorrow, Saturday, October 25, just in time to get everyone ready for some holiday shopping. The opening invite-only bash will be this coming Wednesday, hosted by C mag and the Children's Action Network with guests such as Jamie Tisch, Heather Thomas and others. This is a monumental move for a big-box retailer to come into the neighborhood, but we haven't heard any complaints. Store hours are Mon-Sat 9:30am-7pm; Sun 11am-5pm.
