Ziggy Marley Teaches Tots About Reggae

Is it too early to introduce the little one to "Abbey Road" or Billie Holiday? Parents often want to start their children on a path to loving the music they do, and that journey can start in the crib (we all know moms and dads who've rocked the Beatles in the nursery,or even a little old-school punk).

On Saturday, June 6, reggae-loving parents can make sure the kidlets get the finer points of the genre when Ziggy Marley stops by Club Nokia for a morningtime concert. Put together in association with the GRAMMY Museum, "What is Reggae?" is being billed as the singer's first show fashioned exclusively for the younger set. Mr. Marley will perform, but kids in the audience will be able to try their hands at making tuneage, too.

That all-audience drum session with opening act Rhythm Child should be quite a sight (and sound). Club Nokia, Saturday, June 6, 11AM. $15 person (family packs available)
