A 50-year-old man was killed in a shooting that injured another person near a Del Rey housing projects, authorities said.
Police are searching for two men in the deadly shooting, according to a Los Angles Police Department spokesman.
Gunshots rang out at about 11 p.m. near the intersection of Braddock Drive and Slauson Avenue, police said. Two wounded men were found minutes away, in front of the Mar Vista Gardens housing projects.
Calvin Johnson, a Paramount resident, was killed in the shooting, according to the LA County Coroner's Office. Another man was recovering in a hospital, police said.
It was unclear if the shooting was gang related, police said, and it was unclear what led up to the shooting.
