One person was injured Saturday morning after a fire erupted in a three-story home in the Mount Washington next to Highland Park, officials said.
The fire was reported just before 8 a.m. in the 140 block of South Avenue 59, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Firefighters knocked down the blaze in about 43 minutes.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
