2 Men Sought in Attempted Kidnapping Near CSUN Campus

Police at Cal State Northridge were searching for two men who allegedly attempted to kidnap a woman near the campus dorms earlier this week.

The incident occurred about 4:30 p.m. on Thursday near the southeast corner of Lindley Avenue and Lassen Street, according to the Cal State Northridge Department of Police Services.

The passenger was described as a Hispanic man in his mid-30s, 5-foot-10, weighing about 130 pounds. He had a dark complexion, shaved head, slim build and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and dark blue jeans.

The driver had a similar description and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt.

The vehicle was as an older model, white Toyota Camry with tinted windows, and rust spots on the roof.
