Double Shooting in San Bernardino Leaves Man, Woman Injured

A man and woman were shot in San Bernardino Friday after at least two shootings miles apart were reported, police said.

The first shooting occurred in the 3500 block of East 31st Street, leaving two victims hurt, San Bernardino police said.

The man and woman were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The second shooting occurred in the 2100 block of Orange Street. No one was injured.

Several people believed to be involved in the latter went into an apartment, and refused to come out, witnesses told an NBC4 photographer.

Police officers were evacuating residents of the complex.
