Traffic was backed up on the Golden State (5) Freeway on Monday after a crash sent three people to the hospital, officials said.
The crash was reported at 11:31 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the 5 Freeway at Osborne Street in Arleta, said Brian Humphrey, a Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman.
The freeway was closed for an unknown duration.
