6 People Seriously Injured in Lake Balboa Crash

Six people were seriously injured Sunday night in a multi-vehicle crash in Lake Balboa, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The crash took place around 7:15 p.m. in the 16900 block of West

Strathern Street, fire department spokeswoman Amy Bastman said.

The exact number of vehicles involved is unclear, but people were trapped in at least two of the vehicles and needed to be pulled out by firefighters, Bastman said.

All six people were hospitalized.

Three of the people were listed in critical condition and three in serious condition, Bastman said. Their genders and ages were not immediately available.
