Sheriff's detectives asked for public help Sunday to find a 66-year-old woman suffering from dementia and insulin dependence who went missing from her Carson home.
Wanda Lena Karo last was seen about 8 a.m. Saturday at her home on Ironwood Lane, Deputy Tracy Koerner said.
Karo is 5-foot-6 and weighs about 115 pounds, Koerner said. She has black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black dress with a purple and pink pattern.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts was asked to call the sheriff's department at (323) 890-5500. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477.
