Cancun Murder Victim's Body Returned to Los Angeles

The body of an American television producer's wife arrived in Los Angeles Wednesday night, 20 days after she was found dead at a Caribbean coast resort.

The body of Monica Beresford-Redman was flown into Los Angeles International Airport this evening on a flight that originated in Cancun, Mexico.

Her family was not present when a hearse took the coffin to the Cancun airport Wednesday.   Nor was the family present when the body arrived at 10 p.m. at Gates, Kingsley & Gates Smith Salsbury Mortuary in Culver City.

Her husband, Bruce Beresford-Redman, is barred from leaving Mexico while the death is investigated. The former producer of  ``Survivor'' and co-creator of the ``Pimp My Ride'' show say she failed to return from a shopping trip.

Prosecutor Francisco Alor says Beresford-Redman has been staying in Cancun and the nearby city of Merida while the investigations continues.
