"The popular Badger Lift at the resort has been completely replaced," said Colin Baldock, area manager at Badger Pass.
"The new lift construction that was completed this summer includes all new towers, drive terminal, return terminal machine house, operator house and chairs."
The Glacier Point Road has been repaved up to the Badger Pass entrance and throughout the ski area's parking lots. And from the intersection of Wawona Road at Chinquapin up to Badger Pass, all of the turnouts have also been paved with curbs added.
Additional projects improving the ski area include the repainting of the Eagle Lift, which was rebuilt last year, and the replacement of its top operator house.
The opening marks the 75th anniversary of the ski resort.
