5-Year-Old Girl Found After Amber Alert Activated

An Amber Alert was issued for Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego counties Saturday night for a 5-year-old girl believed to be abducted, but the child was found, authorities said.

Five-year-old Jayleen Corral-Marshall, who weighs 45 lbs and is 3 feet tall, was last seen with Lucy Vasquez, 61, at approximately 3:40 p.m. in Escondido, San Diego County, the California Highway Patrol said in a news release accompanying the Amber Alert.

Authorities released images of a gray 2000 Dodge Caravan with California licence plate 6GWR336.

Vasquez "should be considered dangerous," the CHP said.

The Amber Alert was activated by he CHP on behalf of the Escondido Police Department.

Around 10:30 p.m., the CHP said the Amber Alert had been deactivated, "The victim has been located."
