Angeles National Forest; Free Hiking and Fishing Saturday

Visitors to the Angeles National Forest Saturday will be able to hike and fish for free in the Angeles National Forest in connection with National Public Lands Day.
  
"By waiving fees, everyone will have a chance to get outdoors and enjoy the treasures of this great national forest,'' said Jody Noiron, supervisor of the Angeles National Forest. ``We are working to ensure as many visitors as possible can experience the great recreational opportunities we offer.''
  
``Fee Free'' days are observed on National Trails Day, June 5, Back to School season, Aug. 14 and 15, National Lands Day, Sept. 25, and Veterans Day, Nov. 11.
  
Fees will still be in effect for campground, reservations, group-site and concession fees.
