A body was found Thursday morning in the water in San Pedro.
The body was discovered near Berth 206 in the harbor. Fire-rescue personnel recovered the body at about 8 a.m.
No details regarding a cause of death or identity were immediately available. Los Angeles Police Department homicide investigators responded to the site in the 400 block of Yacht Street.
