Firefighters Knock Down Brush Fire in Pacific Palisades

Firefighters knocked down a brush fire that burned 2.5 acres in Pacific Palisades Sunday morning.

The fire erupted just after 3 a.m. near the 100 block of North Temescal Canyon Road, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Crews battled the blaze from the ground and with water air drops from two helicopters.

The fire was knocked down about 7:20 a.m., LAFD said.

There were no reports of injuries or damage to structures, LAFD said.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
