A brush fire at the Sepulveda Basin in the West San Fernando Valley broke out overnight and grew to about 4 acres. 

The fire started at about 2 a.m. in the 6000 block of North ‘Woodley Avenue. It was pushed by strong morning winds though heavy brush. 

Water-dropping helicopters were dispatched to the fire. 

Temperatures are expected to climb Monday and remain above normal this week.
