Border Patrol agents found a body on the side of Otay Mountain just after 11 a.m. Sunday morning.
Calfire crews responded to a half-acre brush fire nearby late Saturday night, but it’s unclear if the fire has any relation to the body.
The San Diego Sheriff’s Department has taken over the investigation.
