Car Crash in Covina Leaves 400 Without Power

Around 400 customers were left without power after a car crashed into a supply pole in Covina Saturday.

Upon arrival, officers saw the damaged car, as well as poles down with wires hanging near the streets.

Barranca Avenue was closed between Gladstone Street and Arrow Highway. No injuries were reported

There were about 400 customers without power as of 6am according to Southern California Edison, with an estimated restoration time was 11:30 a.m.
