Police were searching for the person responsible after six reports of shattered car windows came in Monday night in Carson.
Residents were asked to be on lookout for someone armed with a BB gun after windows were found broken near Dominguez Street and Santa Fe Avenue on Monday night, Carson Sheriff's deputies said.
There were four reports in an hour.
One woman told NBC4 she heard shots and went outside to find the back window of her brand new car totally shattered.
She said it was the second time it had happened in the neighborhood.
