Chargers To Hold Pet Adoption Day at Training Camp

Dogs will be available for adoption Sunday at the Los Angeles Chargers training camp practice in Costa Mesa.

The dogs for Pet Adoption Day are provided by Priceless Pet Rescue, which bills itself as a nonprofit, no-kill pet rescue organization, with all animals rescued from surrounding high-kill, high-access shelters, owner surrenders on a case-by-case basis and other various circumstances.

All dogs that are adopted will receive 30% off Chargers-branded pet merchandise at the Fanatics tent.

The practice is scheduled to run from 10 a.m.-noon at the Jack Hammett Sports Complex.

Fans may pre-register for free training camp tickets at chargers.com/camp or register at the entrance to the complex.

All bleacher seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Chargers held a joint practice with the Los Angeles Rams Saturday at the Rams training camp at UC Irvine.

"There were a lot of reps today, a lot of good work," Chargers coach Anthony Lynn said on Saturday. "We have a lot of tape to watch and corrections to make, but there was some good stuff that I saw today as well. I'm looking forward to getting back, watching that, making those corrections and getting better."
