A body was found decomposing in a container in Baldwin Hills Saturday afternoon, police said.
The find was reported at 1:44 p.m. in the 4100 block of Santo Tomas Drive, according to Officer Lopez of LAPD’s media relations section.
The person’s gender and any other identifying details were not immediately available.
The person’s death is being treated as a homicide, and police were seen asking questions of neighbors at the apartments and houses adjacent to where the body was discovered.
No other details were immediately available.
