Police Sunday were conducting a death investigation in Apple Valley after a decomposing body was found on a street there.
A motorist spotted the partially decomposed body around 9 a.m. Sunday on Stoddard Wells Road, west of Grasshopper Road, and called police, the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department said.
Police have not released the name of the victim or cause of death as they continue their investigation.
