The owner of a car audio shop shot and killed two suspects, defending his shop late Monday in Downey. A third suspect survived, police said.
Police responded to reports of a shooting at around 8:15 p.m., when witnesses heard about a dozen shots fired. Two men with gunshot wounds were found dead inside First Class Car Audio in the 8800 block of Rosecrans Avenue, Downey police said.
A third alleged suspect was also wounded, but he fled the area. Police found the wounded suspect at a nearby hospital.
