Police are asking for witnesses to a four-car chain-reaction crash on Sunday that left an 89-year-old woman dead.
The crash happened Sunday at 12:20 a.m. at Victory Boulevard and Wilbur Avenue in Reseda.
The crash happened when the driver of a 2000 Volkswagen rear-ended a 2000 Nissan Altima, causing the Altima to lose control and hit a 2000 Toyota Avalon.
The Avalon then traveled backward, hitting a 2013 KIA Riom, police said. Both cars were waiting to turn left.
Justina Larrea, the passenger of the Altima, was killed in the crash, authorities said.
