Firefighters Battle Blaze in Mead Valley

No injuries were reported

Firefighters contained a residential fire that broke out Wednesday morning and displaced six people in Riverside County.

The Mead Valley fire was reported at about 3:30 a.m. in the 22000 block of Perry Street at a residence described as a double-wide mobile home, according to Cal Fire of Riverside County. About 20 firefighters were dispatched to the scene.

The mobile home was fully engulfed in flames and the structure was a total loss. Two cars were also burned in the blaze, firefighters said.

Six people were displaced as result of the fire, including one child. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire was under invesitgation.
