Four Arrested After Armed T-Mobile Store Robbery

GPS in the stolen phones led police to the suspects.

Four people were arrested shortly after they allegedly staged an armed takeover robbery of a Torrance T-Mobile store Sunday night.

At 5:50 p.m., police received a call reporting the robbery at the store in the 4100 block of Pacific Coast Highway.

The suspects allegedly took iPhones, iPads and other electronic devices before fleeing in a car.

Soon after the robbery, police located the car a little more than two miles away using GPS coordinates from the stolen electronics. There was a brief pursuit before the suspects were arrested at Crenshaw Boulevard and Carson Street, according to the Torrance Police Department.

No one inside the store was hurt during the robbery.
