Four men have been arrested on suspicion of murdering a Torrance man who was found shot in the parking lot of a Home Depot last month, authorities said.
Police responded about 11:30 p.m. on June 19 to a shots fired call at the Torrance Crossroads shopping center in the 24400 block of Crenshaw Boulevard, near Lomita Boulevard, and discovered the victim, identified as Bronze Ibe, 28, had been shot, according to Sgt. Paul Kranke with the Torrance Police Department.
Ibe was taken to a hospital and later died from his injuries, Kranke said.
An investigation by homicide detectives identified four suspects, Jahanzaib Anwar, 26, Keveyon Whitmore, 21, Monair Anderson, 19, and Ryan Sanders, 18. All were booked on murder and attempted robbery charges, said Kranke.
The victim was known to the suspects and this was not a random crime, Kranke said.
