Four Injured When Ambulance Flips in Hit-and-Run Crash

Four people suffered minor injuries from a hit-and-run crash early Sunday that left an ambulance on its side and a car in flames on the 91 Freeway in Fullerton.

Paramedics were dispatched at 4:30 a.m. to the eastbound freeway, near Euclid Street. A boy and an occupant from the ambulance were two of the four injured who were taken to an area hospital with minor injuries, the Orange County Fire Authority reported.

The other two injured victims were OCFA paramedics, who also suffered minor injuries.

The California Highway Patrol were investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
