The Getty Villa in Pacific Palisades was closed Wednesday after a telephoned threat was received, but a search by a bomb squad turned up nothing dangerous, a representative of the art museum said.
"We received a threatening call about the Getty Villa," said Julie Jaskol, a representative of the museum at 17985 Pacific Coast Highway.
The nature of the threat was not specified.
"The LAPD has concluded a thorough search of the Getty Villa without finding anything," Jaskol said at about 3:30 p.m. "The Villa will resume normal operations tomorrow."
