Gold Line Train Strikes Man in Pasadena

Authorities close the Gold Line during the investigation

A man was hit by a Metro Gold Line train early Tuesday in  Pasadena and seriously injured.

Paramedics were sent to the tunnel near the Memorial Park Station, 125  E. Holly St., at 6:20 a.m., said Lisa Derderian of the Pasadena Fire  Department. The man was taken to a hospital with head and leg injuries,  Derderian said.

Both tracks were blocked while an investigation was conducted. The track reopened at about 7:30 a.m.
