A woman was injured about 150 feet below a steep trail in Griffith Park Monday morning, Los Angeles fire officials said.
The 22-year-old woman fell near Bee Rock, near the center of the park, according to a tweet from the Los Angeles Fire Department authored by spokesman Erik Scott. She injured an extremity, and firefighters on the scene were providing pain management and medical care.
Firefighters put the woman on a stretcher and brought her up to a waiting ambulance.
