Homicide detectives were investigating the death of a 25-year-old man who was found lying on a street in Big Bear early Friday.
The man was reported dead just after midnight on Starvation Flats Road just south of Big Bear Boulevard (map), the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department said in a news release.
The man was taken to Bear Valley Community Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators have reason to believe that the man was the victim of a homicide, but did not say why.
The man's name was not released because his family had not been notified of his death.
