Inventors to Open Micro-Amusement Park in LA

A group of investors is hoping millennial can put down their phones and begin interacting at the country's first micro-amusement park.

Two Bit Circus, which combines old-school carnival fun and cutting-edge technology, will open the first in a chain of small-scale amusement parks in downtown Los Angeles, reports NBC4 media partner KPCC.

"I see our micro-amusement park as completely disrupting the entertainment industry, the world has nothing like this: there's no place that takes advantage of smaller spaces like we intend to do," said Two Bit Circus co-founder Eric Gradman.

In order to keep guests interested, games and scenarios will change, Gradman said. It probably won't be too hard to keep guests excited, though, seeing as the park will include robots.

One robot paints the image you draw by shooting paintballs at a wall. Want to wet your whistle? A 5-foot-tall robot will serve as your bartender.

The micro-amusement park is set to open sometime in early 2018.
