Fire Causes “Extensive” Damage to Johnny Rockets at Knott's Berry Farm

The cost of damage is not yet known and the cause is still under investigation.

A Johnny Rockets restaurant at Knott’s Berry Farm suffered "extensive" damage because of a two-alarm fire early Wednesday.

The fire broke out around 2:20 a.m and the flames were under control within the hour, according to Capt. Steve Concialdi of the Orange County Fire Association.

No one was injured by the fire that consumed the two-story burger joint at the Buena Park theme park.

An arcade and laser tag area next to the restaurant also had some smoke and water damage.

The fire caused approximately $170,000 in damage. The cause is still under investigation, but authorities believe it may have been caused by a worker that was welding.
