A man in his 30s was hospitalized Tuesday morning following a confrontation with two Orange County sheriff's deputies who suffered moderate injuries as they assisted with the serving of a restraining order at a home in La Mirada.
Deputies responded at 8:40 p.m. Monday to a call of a family disturbance and to assist with serving the order on a man who lives at the home in the 8100 block of Barrington Lane when the man confronted deputies and a use of force occurred, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
The suspect and deputies were taken to a hospital where the suspect was sedated and the deputies were treated for their injuries, the sheriff's department said.
Details of the type of force used were not released.
