At least three lanes were shut early Tuesday morning after a woman was killed when her SUV crashed into a pole and rolled over on the 5 Freeway in Sylmar, authorities said.
The crash was reported around 2:45 a.m. the northbound 5 Freeway just north of the 210 Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The womanm believed to be in her 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
Three lanes remained closed on the northbound 5 Freeway until further notice. according to the CHP. investigation and to clear the wreckage, according to the CHP.
The crash was under investigation.
