Sheriff's deputies arrested two people suspected of shooting at a parked van with a family inside, including two children, in South LA on Monday night.
The family told Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies they were waiting in the van at 115th Place and Berendo Avenue about 8:40 p.m. when they saw a gold-colored Toyota Camry circling the neighborhood. The Camry stopped about 35 feet from the van, then a male passenger got out and fired several shots at the van.
No one was struck by gunfire. Deputies said one of the children was hit by broken glass.
