2015 LA Marathon: Street Closures and Heat Warnings

Residents in Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood and downtown Los Angeles will be affected by the closures.

It’s that time of year again for tens of thousands of runners to flood the streets of Los Angeles and raise money for dozens of charities.

The 30th edition of the ASICS LA Marathon will commence Sunday, March 15 at 6:55 a.m. starting at Dodgers Stadium and ending near the beautiful Santa Monica Pier. The 26.2 mile race attracts more than 26,000 runners from all over the nation and more than 55 countries around the world, making it one of the five largest marathons in the US and one of the 10 largest worldwide.
