Authorities identified the second street race spectator killed in the San Fernando Valley Thursday when a car hopped a curb and slammed into a crowd.
Three people were struck by a Ford Mustang, which was racing another car in Chatsworth at about 2 a.m. Thursday, according to police and witness reports.
Two of them died, including 50-year-old Wilson Thomas Wong, of Torrance, who was identified Monday by the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office. Wong's identity was withheld through the weekend until next of kin could be notified, officials said.
Eric Siguenza, a 26-year-old Los Angeles resident, was identified Thursday as the other person killed in the crash.
The Mustang's driver fled the scene after the crash, police said. Officers hunted for the driver, identifying on Thursday afternoon Henry Gevorgyan, 21, as the man suspected of driving the car.
Gevorgyan was arrested Saturday after he turned himself in to police. He is being held on $2 million bail at Los Angeles Police Department's Valley Jail in Van Nuys, according to inmate information posted online.
