3 Injured After FedEx Truck Crashes Into Hotel Restaurant Window Near LAX

A parcel delivery truck crashed into a window Tuesday in the restaurant area of a hotel near Los Angeles International Airport, causing non-life-threatening injuries to the driver and two other people.

The crash was reported about 6:10 p.m. at the Renaissance Los Angeles Airport Hotel at 9620 Airport Blvd., according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

One of the injured was a passenger in the FedEx cargo truck, Humphrey said.

The driver declined an ambulance ride to a hospital. The truck passenger, described as the driver's assistant and the third patient, whose conditions were not immediately available, were taken to a hospital for further evaluation, Humphrey said.

The crash was under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department's West Traffic Division.
