Three people were found dead in Newport Beach Wednesday night, with police confirming they're investigating a triple homicide.

Two women and a man were found dead near the Palazzo residences, Heather Rangel of the Newport Beach Police Department said. The three dead people were not immeditately identified by police.

A man turned himself related to the incident at Kaiser Permanente in Irvine, Rangel said. There is no ongoing threat to the public, police said.

Officers made a welfare check at the home late Wednesday after a request by police in the nearby city of Irvine.
