A 34-year-old man was shot and killed in the 12400 block of Bullis Road in Lynwood on Tuesday night.
According to the Sheriff’s Department, at around 8:10 p.m. a deputy patrolling the area heard gunshots and drop in that direction. He was flagged down by a witness who pointed out the victim who was lying in the street.
The witness told the deputy that the victim and a suspect had stopped in the middle of the road, exited from their cars, and began arguing with each other. The suspect then pulled out a gun and shot the victim, then drove off, according the witness.
The victim was prounounced dead at the scene.
The suspect has been described as a tall, black male. He was seen driving a red sedan.
The Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau is currently investigating the circumstances behind the death.
