Drivers who frequent the 405 Freeway on Los Angeles' Westside will have yet another months-long ramp closure to deal with starting Thursday.
The eastbound Wilshire Boulevard onramp to the northbound I-405 will close for reconstruction until mid November as part of the freeway's ongoing Sepulveda Pass Improvements Project.

The ramp, which averages about 8,000 vehicles per day, will be demolished and rebuilt to accomodate three times as many vehicles and be seismically up to date, Metro officials said.

- Daytime: Southbound Sepulveda Boulevard to westbound Santa Monica Boulevard to northbound I-405.
- Alternate: Southbound Sepulveda Boulevard to westbound Pico Boulevard to northbound Cotner Avenue to northbound I-405.
- Nighttime: Southbound Federal Avenue to eastbound Santa Monica Boulevard to northbound I-405.
- Alternate: Southbound Westwood Boulevard to westbound Santa Monica Boulevard to northbound I-405.
Metro said the Wilshire Boulevard onramp closure will be the last of its kind for the rest of the freeway improvements project.
Earlier this month, crews closed Sunset Boulevard ramps to and from the northbound 405 Freeway -- a closure expected to last about four months.
Last weekend, LA County's neighbor to the south had a stretch of the 405 Freeway in the Westminster area closed for about 15 hours while crews demolished an old bridge.
