At least seven people were injured Monday morning in a crash on the southbound 5 Freeway north of Santa Clarita.
Two victims, including a 4-year-old child, were in critical condition, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Five other victims suffered minor to moderate injuries, fire-rescue officials said.
Lanes were closed for the investigation near Hasley Canyon Road, where two vehicles were involved in the crash at about 5 a.m. The lanes remained closed until about 7:30 a.m.
