Amtrak BOGO Deal Opens (for a Brief Time)

Ever wanted to share a train roomette or bedroom with a pal? Here's your chance (and your chance to save).

MOVIES ON TRAINS? We're talking about films made on choo-choos, not the movies you'd watch while sitting in your train seat. They very often include intrigue, and fabulous fashion, and a great soundtrack. And a common occurrence? The main character has some sort of sleeper situation, the kind of snug nook that she can retreat to, either on her own or with a friend or sweetheart. But in our go-go-go, gotta-get-around world? We're not often retreating to that sleep space on a train. Rather, we're in a seat, eager to get to the next port of call. Or, yes, platform and station. Would your mind go movie-ish, though, if you knew that you and your pal or sweetheart could score a buy-one, get-one deal on a roomette or bedroom? Meaning more privacy for you both while humming along the rails? You're in luck, cinematic travelers, for...

AMTRAK'S COOL BOGO DEAL... has arrived. Indeed, there's a special code you'll need to snag a roomette or bedroom aboard a train for two people while only paying for one (that code is V54O). And you'll need to buy between June 4 and 10, 2019 for travel between Aug. 1, 2019 and March 31, 2020. Will there be amenities like "bed linens, pillows, temperature controls, lights, bed-side storage nooks, electrical outlets, huge double-decker windows, and a fold-down table" in the spot you retreat to, dear rail-rider? Oh yes, there will be. Are there blackout dates to contend with? Oh goodness no, there are not. As for the upshot of this truly remarkable deal? It's '... valid for for one free companion rail fare traveling in the same roomette, bedroom, or family room with the purchase of one regular adult fare."

WHERE WILL YOU GO? What will you see? And won't you be well-rested, having retreated, like some movie character of yore, to your private sleeping compartment? Find out all of the participating trains, the details, the need-to-knows, and asterisks at the Amtrak site now.
