Announced: Paley Center Fall TV Previews

A number of upcoming casts'll take the stage to chat about upcoming shows.

It's no secret that television has transformed in recent years, with streaming, binge-watching, marathons, and revivals capturing viewers' fancies throughout the calendar, regardless of season.

But fall remains a legendary launch time for many series, still, and September, with all of its back-to-school-y, start-anew-ish ways, is a month that, for countless TV fans, signals fresh starts in the worlds of their favorite stories, and potential favorite stories yet to come.

That "to come" part takes the stage during The Paley Center for Media's annual PaleyFest Fall TV Previews, a ten-day celebration of just-debuting shows, as well as a few long-running gems, from a host of networks, streaming services, and cable outlets.

September, as is tradition, is the month to watch, and the out-sized showbiz treat'll land at The Paley Center's Beverly Hills-based museum from Sept. 6 through 16, 2017. And like PaleyFest, that springtime spectacular that spotlights a line-up of panel nights featuring TV stars aplenty, the PaleyFest Fall TV Previews also has its fair share of celeb-centered panel action.

Look for Showtime's "Shameless" to open up the previews on Sept. 6, with stars William H. Macy, Emmy Rossum, and other actors paneling it up at the center. ABC's "The Mayor" is a matinee happening on Saturday, Sept. 9 while NBC's "Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders" is on Monday, Sept. 11.

"Me, Myself & I" from CBS, "Ghosted" from FOX, and "Big Mouth" from Netflix are also on the roster of preview panels, which traditionally include get-to-know-us screenings for the new shows.

"PaleyFest Fall TV Previews is the place where TV enthusiasts not only get their first look at the most exciting new shows of the television season, but also have the rare opportunity to engage with each show's stars and creators," said Maureen J. Reidy, the Paley Center's President & CEO.
