Apple Valley Man Suspected of Molesting 5 Children

Deputies made the arrest when the parents of one alleged victim confronted him

A 56-year-old Apple Valley man was arrested in connection with sexually assaulting five children, officials said.

Paul Hultman was arrested on Sunday in the 16000 block of Winnebago Road in Apple Valley.

He was booked after parents of one of the victims tried to confront him after their daughter told them that he had sexually assaulted her.

Five victims from the neighborhood accused Hultman of sexually abusing them in exchange for gifts and money, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office.

Hultman was booked into jail on a charge of continual sexual abuse of a child. He’s accused of sexually assaulting four girls, ages 12 to 15, and an 8-year-old boy, authorities said.

He was associated with two preschools in the Santa Barbara area until 2007, investigators said.

Hultman had a background in accounting and worked in a clerical position in 2005 and 2006 at an off-site office for one of the schools, the San Bernardino County Sun reported.
