Four suspects were detained after leading police on a pursuit in North Hollywood early Friday morning.
The pursuit began when officers noticed a man with a handgun near Chandler Boulevard and Colfax Avenue around 3:25 a.m. The suspect jumped into a car with several passengers and fled the scene.
The suspects fled from police for about one mile before the vehicle crashed near Rhodes Avenue and Chandler Boulevard.
Two male suspects ran from the vehicle and one woman was detained by police. At least one of the male suspects that fled on foot was believed to be armed.
Police set up a perimeter around the area where the suspects fled on foot. Both remaining suspects were found and detained.
Police are still investigating the attempted robbery and pursuit.
