A man riding a bicycle was shot to death in the Harbor Gateway area of Los Angeles, authorities said Monday.
The shooting was reported about 10:55 p.m. Sunday at 224th Street and Denker Avenue, Lt. Robin Richards of the Los Angeles Police Department's Harbor Station said.
Carlos Sanchez, 43, of Torrance died at the scene, the coroner's office reported.
According to the preliminary investigation, two men opened fire on Sanchez from a passing vehicle, Richards said. No descriptions were available of the suspects or vehicle.
