Firefighters were battling a brush fire in south Los Angeles County Thursday morning.
The fire, in the Whittier area, stretched over approximately three acres, but didn't threaten any structures, according to the LA County Fire Department.

The fire was 75 percent contained as of 2:30 p.m., accoriding to the LA County Fire Department Twitter feed.
